    The Swiss Federal Council appoints Martin Zimmermann as a new member to the ENSI Board

    From 01 April 2017, the ENSI Board will once again comprise seven members. The Federal Council appointed Martin A. Zimmermann as the successor to Karine Rausis. The 65-year old has more than 30 years experience in the nuclear reactor research field.

    Each year, the ENSI Board defines objectives for the management of the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI) as part of the Performance Agreement. These objectives are geared to the strategic goals specified in the Performance Mandate, which always has a validity period of four years.
