The independence of the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI) is intact and should continue to be strengthened.

This report provides an overview of the ENSI Board’s activities. It includes information about supervision, the status of quality assurance and the condition of the nuclear plants.

Each year, the ENSI Board defines objectives for the management of the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI) as part of the Performance Agreement. These objectives are geared to the strategic goals specified in the Performance Mandate, which always has a validity period of four years.
